Concord, CA — Today, Contra Costa Supervisor Susan Bonilla, candidate for Assembly in District 11, announced the endorsement of Assemblywoman Nancy Skinner (AD-14).

"I am honored to have received Assemblywoman Skinner's endorsement," said Bonilla. "As Chair of the Assembly Natural Resources Committee, Assemblywoman Skinner has been a leader in protecting California's natural resources."

Also, on Sunday at the California Democratic Pre-Endorsement Conference, Bonilla received the endorsement of the California Democratic Party (CDP). The recommendation for endorsement will go on the consent calendar for ratification at the CDP convention next month.

Susan Bonilla was elected to the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors in 2006. She also has the endorsement of Assemblyman Tom Torlakson, State Senator Mark DeSaulnier and the majority of locally elected mayors and city council members in Assembly District 11.
