Concord, CA — Susan Bonilla, candidate for Assembly in District 11, today announced the endorsement of Assembly Majority Leader Alberto Torrico.

"Susan Bonilla is a former teacher who will stand up for students and teachers and will be a leader in Sacramento on education reform" said Torrico. "Her record as a public servant demonstrates she will help build broad coalitions to help solve our state's problems."

Bonilla currently serves as Chair of the Contra Costa Board of Supervisors, District IV. Prior to her election to the Board, Bonilla was on the Concord City Council and taught high school English in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District.
