Concord, CA — Susan Bonilla, candidate for Assembly in District 11, today announced the endorsement of Lieutenant Governor John Garamendi.

"As a former teacher, Susan Bonilla will bring valuable insight to Sacramento on what is needed to improve education," said Garamendi. "Susan knows that what kids learn in the classroom is the key to our economic future."

Bonilla currently serves as Chair of the Contra Costa Board of Supervisors, District IV. Prior to her election to the Board, Bonilla was on the Concord City Council and taught high school English in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District.
